Diane & Travis are getting married!

This past weekend I did a photo session for Diane & Travis, a couple getting married this August. Diane had the amazing idea of doing a session inspired by the show Pushing Daisies, a favorite of hers. So we channelled the bright colors, manicured lawns, big flowers and vintage style dress. Here are a few of my favorites from the session!

i think the image on the right is my favorite from the day. It seems to channel a little more 'Mad Men' than 'Pushing Daisies' but I just love it.

Lilly is -almost- one!

First of all, I am an editing ninja to get these up so fast. But I'm super excited about them and the cuteness is almost overwhelming. My life-friend/cousin Sara has a baby, Lilly that is almost one year old. It's pretty sweet because Lilly's due date is my due date with Autumn so they'll be almost exactly a year apart. We've already decided that they are going to be bff and we'll have picnics and play dates with them at the park.

For their family session we went to Leu Gardens in Orlando. What a gorgeous place! I wish we had all day to spend there (with a temperature of about 20 degrees less)... but really beautiful for photos. Loved it!

Lilly didn't like the grass on her feet. :)

love. love. love.

some randomness...

It's no surprise that I love taking photographs. So when I'm not busy designing or shooting portraits I love to play around with nature, still life, events... whatever captures my attention. Here are a few I've shot recently just for fun...

this guy has been threatening to come in my office window. he looks so peaceful. maybe I'll let him in.
